Ombre Obession

If you want to try something new with your lipstick game?  Ombre is perfect for you.  Ombre is beautiful and can be done by the average Joe Blow.  All you need is a lip liner, lipstick and yourself! By adding ombre to your makeup regimen you can produce a breathtaking burst of colors that will give makeup artists a run for their money!

Now before I get started on instructions the MOST important thing about ombre that you need to know is that it must be done with a Dark color and a lighter color.  Having the same shades or relatively close shade will not give you the pop that you are looking for it will only washout your lovely lips SO what that being said you will need

1.A lip liner ( this should be the darker color)
2.lipstick (can be any shade as long as it is not dark)
3.Yourself


First it is important that before you apply any lipstick that you moisturize your lips with a lip balm so that those lovely lips do not appear cracked up and dry when lipstick application is finished being applied.

Next you should start outlining your lips from your cupids bow all around the outline of your natural lip shape( some prefer going a little bit over to make lips appear fuller)

After applying the dark lip liner go back over it so that every line is clean,
 you can make your lip line thin ( If you want the lighter color to be more prominent) or thick depending on if you want the darker color to be more prominent color on your lips

Next with the pink space left on your now lip lined lip  you will fill in your lips with the lipstick on the inner part of your lips 

Once you have completed this last step you may mesh your lips together to blend the two colors or with a lipstick brush if you have and Voila! You have a popping Ombre lip Girl
